Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been earned on hardcourt
A resurgent Daniil Medvedev secured his first championship for nearly 30 months with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult season, winning just a single victory at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in specific - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with former coach Cervara.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, he has gradually progressed in the past month - climaxing in a hard-fought three-set triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is his maiden trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface since spring of 2023.
Victory also indicates he has secured 21 victories at twenty-one various events.
"For the first time I am participating in a competition with my children simultaneously, so to win a championship is particularly special," commented world number 14 Medvedev.
"This victory is in dedication of my second daughter her name, because the initial championship I won when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his past six finals, featuring in that event previously this season.
Medvedev's defensive approach and regular reactions on the playing surface had caused observers to doubt if his capacity to perform at the top level was finished.
But the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and play positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He came back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the tricky Frenchman, taking 4 of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The pair exchanged break points in the middle set before Moutet, striving for his initial tour championship, seized the initiative to create a third set.
He rescued four early-game opportunities in a close third set before the champion broke to that score to close out the victory.
Fittingly, he earned the title with a point at the front of the court, with the Frenchman failing to control a shot after two hours and 38 minutes.
