I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
